Mission Center Mall located at Johnson Drive & Roe Avenue in Mission was recently sold and plans are underway for a multimillion-dollar makeover.
Plans are for the redevelopement project to be a combination of commercial and residential. Most of the leases will expire by the end of the year. Dillard's will close its two stores, located at each end of the mall, this fall. Demolition is likely to begin in spring 2006.
