A $23 million redevelopment is planned for Cherokee South by Illinois-based Tri-land Properties Inc.  Redevelopment plans for the center, originally constructed in 1964, call for the complete demolition of one building, construction of three new retail buildings that will total 27,000 square feet, new facades, enhanced landscaping and a new parking lot.
